We had a black and white TV, made color by a transparent hanging over it. The first TV show I ever watched &#8211; &#8220;Die Sendung mit der Maus&#8221;, a German children&#8217;s program with a mouse and a blue elephant.<\/p>\n<p><b>[taste]:: wedding cake<\/b><br \/>\nI actually can&#8217;t remember ever eating one, although I must have. But the marrying thing has only just started with my friends &#8211; I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ll get my chance to consciously taste one&#8230; \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><b>[smell]:: laundry soap<\/b><br \/>\nMy mom pouring a basket full of freshly laundered bedsheets over me. The clean, fresh smell surrounds me, the sheets still warm, and I hide my head in them.<\/p>\n<p><b>[touch]:: unwraping a present<\/b><br \/>\nMy 20th birthday, when my best friend gave me a big box, filled with 20 gifts while we were at the pub celebrating. All my friends were there and watched me, laughing and commenting as I unwrapped one gift after the other.<\/p>\n<p><b>[hearing]:: school bell<\/b><br \/>\nSitting in class, glancing at my watch constantly. Slowly starting to pack up my things, hoping the teacher won&#8217;t notice. Finally, the bell, and everyone jumps up and runs out, me one of the first.
