I&#8217;m home alone for almost two weeks &#8211; my parents are on vacation in the mountains and my brother is a the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.ch\/url?sa=t&#038;ct=res&#038;cd=1&#038;url=http%3A\/\/www.pardo.ch\/&#038;ei=MC_2QtqKMpXSwgH9q6TyDQ\" target=\"new\">Locarno film festival<\/a>. I&#8217;m enjoying it, as it&#8217;s been a while that I had the house for myself. Not that I&#8217;m doing anything exciting: I&#8217;ve been holed up in my room working on my paper on online communities most of the day, and it&#8217;s been going pretty well, although I get side-tracked sometimes.<\/p>\n<p>This is probably the best thing that could happen &#8211; no leaving the house, no talking to anyone, just focusing on my last paper, because I really want to finish before leaving for Japan in September. And in two weeks my German friend M\u00c3\u00a4rrie will come for a visit, which will probably cut into my study time quite a bit, although I&#8217;m very excited about it, as she hasn&#8217;t had the time to come to Switzerland for quite a long time. We&#8217;re going to have a lot of fun &#8212; especially if I manage to get ahead on the paper until then.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, I am like a broken record these days. It&#8217;s called &#8216;setting priorities&#8217;. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Btw, on Friday I procrastinated and put together a tentative itinerary for Japan.
