Halloween

It’s not a big holiday here in Switzerland – but it’s an opportunity for me and some of my friends to dress up and go out… So last night found us at the ZicZac in Allschwil, which was decorated (specially the waiters *g*) and later got terribly crowded (and smoky – my eyes really watered). But it was fun – we danced (which feels weird in a long dress) and talked and ate. Not so much drinking, though, because that’s really expensive and I had taken painkillers before.

At one point there’ll be pictures from that party on partysearch.ch, including several with us, because Beat, a friend of ours, was their photographer. Until then – here are some of the pics that I took:

Sibylle made her dress herself – isn’t it gorgeous? I also really enjoyed wearing my dress – it just feels so luxurious!

Beat took this one – aren’t those costumes Martin (the guy with the wig in the middle) made simply breathtaking?

I didn’t go for a specific costume – but considering the fact that I’m wearing little horns, we could make a guess… 🙂

The ZicZac. That picture was taken pretty early on, but the air is already bad.

Sibylle and Alex – who was dressed as Alex. Scary, huh? *g*

Our table, right beneath the dancefloor. There’s Martin, his mom, two of his sisters and two friends of theirs, all dressed up in baroque dreams…

I don’t know those two, but I loved their costumes – they were probably my favorites, a spark of color in the midst of all those vampires, witches and other shady creatures. I’m seriously considering going as a wood elf next year, it’s just such a great idea!

Martin later took off his curly wig, which turned him from vampire prince into a pirate – and the middle of a sandwich of female beauty… Female is right, at least. LOL
