When I was in Edinburgh I spent some time in a bookstore and found a Moleskine notebook (ruled, because otherwise my writing gets all crooked), which I’ve been dreaming of buying for a while now, for any writing inspiration I might have when away from my laptop. I don’t know, there’s just something about Moleskine that appeals to me… Anyone of you use Moleskine?
And so, since I’ve been thinking of starting something like a daily ‘state of me’ thing, to give me a better idea about any connections between my mood/my health/what’s going on in my life I splurged on a Pocket Weekly Diary. Took me a while to find a site to order it from, since I didn’t want to have to pay a lot of postage in addition to the price of the book, but I finally found Buchkatalog.de, where it’s still available (which it wasn’t on several other sites) and will be send, free of charge, to a local bookstore. Cool!
Now I only need to find a place that sells the travel journal, for Japan this fall… 😀
I bought my first Moleskine just a month or two ago, but carry it with me everywhere. Still working on filling the pages, but mainly use it to sketch ideas and make notes to myself (I have the memory of a goldfish). I’ve already given one away as a gift too – the perfect present 😉
I actually found your site through another one that had linked to an entry I made about MY Moleskine! But I have enjoyed having a read through your site – It’s refreshing to find someone who actually states that they are “grateful for the opportunities the internet gives me”. It’s easy to take the internet for granted, but it sure does provide a lot.
