Two friends I met online moved in together and got rid of a lot of stuff – and I could not resist the opportunity to buy some of it. So now my family has a microwave for the first time, and I’ve got TV and DVD in my room. Have yet to hook up the TV, but I really like the thought of not having to negotiate with my father every time I want to watch something during the evening. I also bought some exercise gear – we’ll see if I can make myself use it regularly… *g*

My stuffed animals had to make way for the black monster (it’s an older Sony model) – it felt really weird to pack them away in a box under my bed. As if I was betraying them, despite the fact that they’d just been sitting in a corner of my room, gathering dust anyway… Such a lot of them, too – I never realized how many I have that really mean something to me. Not all of them from when I was a kid, but also things that I got in the last couple of years from friends and family. I could never get rid of them, I’m much too sentimental… šŸ™‚
